This is a horror-adventure game that tells the story of the missing girl Misao. Explore a ghastly school pulled into another world, and seek the truth of what happened to your classmate. (When launching the game, you can also choose to play ''Misao: Definitive Edition.'') Summary The quiet, plain, and reclusive Misao was often the target of bullies. And three months ago, she suddenly went missing. Ever since that day, there have been all kinds of unnatural events around campus. Rumor has it that it's Misao's ''curse''... And when the school transforms into a terrifying and otherworldly place, that rumor is proven true. A Colorful Cast of Characters Your classmates, trapped in the Otherworld, are on the run from all kinds of paranormal dangers. In these fearful circumstances, they may reveal their connections to Misao. In addition, some apparent residents of the Otherworld may help you out as well... Evil Forces at Every Turn The Otherworld is filled with violent spirits and deathtraps. But why could this be...? Don't assume you're safe; they'll descend upon you without mercy, too. Even a single wrong choice could lead to death. Evade them skillfully, and maybe you'll find a way out, or else quell these phenomena for good. Crimson Eyes A feature that aids in exploration by highlighting places you've investigated before. Not only that, it can let you find ''Li'l Miscreant,'' an odd entity who hides around the Otherworld. (This feature is new to ''Misao - 2024 HD Remaster.'')
